My husband & I came here for dinner last night. I love the wonderfully designed interior with lots of color. Naim was our server. We started out with a basket of their complimentary homemade tortilla chips & salsa as well as an order of guacamole $3.95 which were quite good. The chips were thin and crispy, and just the perfect amount of salt. Naim was nice enough to bring my husband several bottles of hot sauce since he's a total "pepper head. For entrees I went with 2 Fish Soft Tacos $3ea + $1ea. extra for fish. They were large & delicious with lots of shredded cabbage which they seem to use instead of lettuce. I was a bit concerned since they were a little fishy smelling, but no problems. They must have had some chopped Jalapeno peppers or possibly pepper sauce since they were a bit spicy, so I just ate more chips which helped. My husband enjoyed the Paquete 1 which had a Torta Ahogada with 2 Tacos Dorados. Naim did a great job checking on us from time to time, and even brought us more of their yummy chips.

Went here today for the first time and it was great! We had their fish tacos and they were honestly the best I've ever had. They were super busy so it took a little while to get a table, but it was well worth it. We will be back!

Many reasons to keep coming back here! Got some dinner from here today, & it wasn't the first time, nor my last. I wanted to wait until I had gotten food from here a few times until I made a review & ever since my first experience here, it has always been great! Super friendly & helpful staff, great looking place with a good amount of seating & space, lots of windows so it feels open, and clean! I got takeout today & the wait was not too long either. I got a Regular Torata with Asada & 2 Choriza Taco's with everything on it. My fiancé got a few taco's as well, & she loved them. It was my first time having a Torta from here & well.. it's in the name of the restaurant so of course I had to finally try it. I have had their tacos before, which of course was good. My torta was huge! But not only was it huge, but it tasted amazing too! Every ingredient just worked together. & not only was it good, but it was also affordable too! Honestly, I would have been good with just a torta because I got full with just half of it, but I HAD to get some taco's. The tacos were also good! It was my first time getting their Chorizo taco's & I was not mad about it. In fact, I loved it. Wish I could have had more, but I was also full, so thankfully only got 2. The cilantro & onions were also very fresh, undoubtedly. Delicious food, helpful staff, clean building, affordable, & quick. How can anyone say no??

First time at Tortas Ahogadas El Tio. Street parking was ample. We were warmly welcomed and sat in a table by the window. Our server Manny was awesome. The ambiance was great, it's very clean and bright and colorful inside. The food. I can't even say how good it was. It was beyond any expectation I had about tortas or tacos. First recommendation: Combo #2 Torta Ahogada with 2 tacos dorados and choice of meat on top. We chose potato tacos (you can choose potato or bean tacos). The plate comes with sauce and a marinated onions and cabbage mix that is divine. So fresh, so crisp, so flavorful!! Crazy good. Recommendation #2: poblano and cheese taco dorado. This wasn't on the menu, but recommended to us by our server and it was like a chile relleno inside of a taco shell. Sooooo good. Recommendation #3: Barbacoa tacos. Ridiculously good with consommé to dip them in. Micheleadas on point. You should get in the car and go there now We can't wait to go back.

We made it here tonight for the first time for our anniversary dinner. I'm so thrilled and proud to have this gem in our community. Amazing food, the restaurant is beautiful and quaint. My husband got the torta with two tacos. His drink was Jamaica and pineapple juice, which was a recommendation and he loved it. I had two Barbacoa tacos and a fountain soda.

The tacos were incredible, with LOTS of tender, great flavored meat.

The menu is amazing and so hard to pick. We will be back for breakfast, since that menu looks delicious!
